Updated June 2026.
The World Cup is here. And if you're an NYC parent, that means trying to figure out where you can watch it with your kid. We've all seen the TikTok rants about toddlers in restaurants and the Reddit threads debating strollers in breweries. These conversations can make it feel like the only place to watch the game with your family is your apartment.
But our data tells a different story. Many sports bars, pubs, and taverns in NYC don't just allow kids, they go out of their way to accommodate them. Custom-built changing tables. Kids menus with salmon and pierogis and Shirley Temples. High chairs offered before you ask. That's not tolerance, that's a choice.
To be clear: this doesn't mean take your infant to a swanky cocktail bar. But a pub showing the World Cup on six screens? Odds are you're fine.
And it makes sense, because sports have always been about bringing people together. Different neighborhoods, different backgrounds, different ages. All of it dissolves when everyone's watching the same game (the World Cup more than almost anything else). So why would kids be the exception?
Fandom starts somewhere. Might as well make it here, in the best city on earth.
Here are 16 baby and kid-friendly spots across Brooklyn, Manhattan, and Queens to watch the World Cup with the whole crew.
